December Daily update

Last night I caught up with my December Daily. I wondered whether or not to include my medical drama in this year's album. I didn't want to make it what Christmas was all about this year, but I also thought ignoring it didn't feel right either. So, I mentioned it briefly on one of the pages (a page that I didn't end up posting, because it would reveal Christmas secrets. And we can't have that....no matter if I've had surgery or not). Friends come to visit...

baking hullabaloo

trip to Rockefeller.

finishing the Christmas cards.

The 17th was a frazzled day of running around the city for ultrasounds and appointments and such. I took this photo of Andrew the week before. It shows a toy catalog he's been studying and the marble track he is aching for this Christmas. Will he get it? I'll never tell.

And the big day in the hospital. A perfect day to, ahem, showcase my kitchen Christmas linens. Right? ;)

And the snowstorm from this weekend!

I am feeling much better today. I'd say I was at about 75%. Though...it's still early. Dave is planning on heading to work for a few hours. I plan on puttering around and completing my big goal: walk Andrew to preschool! I think I can, I think I can...

Glad you're feeling a bit better. If you're going to take that walk to preschool, take it easy and try not to overdo it. The problem with feeling a bit better is that you tend to think you can do more than perhaps you should ;o) (I talk from experience! lol!!) Hope you continue to make good progress.

Is that the same marble track you sought advice from your readers way back when?! Andrew is going to go crazy with it!

Glad you're back, you stubborn lady.

I love Isaac's picture with the lights. The chin "fat" makes him look like a baby but he is so interested by the lights that he also looks like an older boy. I hope you're taking it easy...
