I grew up in and still frolic in Christian traditions. In many church services there is a praise song that everyone sings after the money is collected. Dave calls it: The Money Song.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Praise him all creatures here below.
Praise him above ye heavenly host.
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Anyway, I often catch myself humming (or outright belting) this little diddy upon a happy occasion. Finding great parking. Getting a little work I can do from home. And today, when Andrew took a nap.
It's been three weeks. No nap.
So having a little quiet today is good reason to cheer.
Now that I think about it, my current church does not have us sing The Money Song.
Maybe I'll do a little solo on Sunday and show them how it's done.
Who's with me?
