Ever since SouleMama featured these crayon rocks on her website, I've been trying to order some. And I think that everyone else that reads her blog was trying to order some too, because the company ran out of them. Plain and simple. The Tickle-Me-Elmo of craft moms.
I really wanted some for some little people in my life. Why do I like them so much? They are good crayons. They have nice, bright colors. They're great for little developing fingers. But ultimately, I loved them because they are so cute.
So last night I made these little bags to hold them. And Dave and Andrew are fighting the lines at the PO right now to get them delivered by Christmas.
I made Andrew a bag too. And since we already know that his crafty side is powerfully overshadowed by his blocks and trains side...I guessing, hoping really, that the little bag and crayon rocks are really for me.
And that's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.

So funny -- I ordered some for Lucas as well and they'll go into his stocking on Xmas day. I have a feeling that I'll like them a bit more than he will...
i put these on a list of gift suggestions for the boys and am hoping they'll be under the tree. it is crazy how long they were sold out, right?
I ordered some of these for Noah! I think they will be great for him.
