Grandmama and Granddaddy got the boys a zoo pass for their birthdays. Today we went to the aquarium to put that zoo pass to work!
Both boys loved it. Isaac loved standing in front of the giant tanks. Nosed pressed to the glass, smacking it with his hands. He was fascinated. Even by the tanks with no fish. Just loved seeing all those lights and water. Andrew was more into the fish.
Andrew and Dave went shopping when we got home so Andrew could pick out a gift for Isaac. He happened to pick out something that he also loved. Funny how that works.
And it would not be a birthday without a little of this
And of course, there was cake.

I think Isaac looks kinda like an alien in that first photo! Something about the face and head shape and the glow of the aquarium make him look a touch extra-terrestrial.
