nightly prayer
It reads:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for Mommy and Daddy and Andrew and Isaac and Christmas. And thank you for the couch cushions. Amen.
You say this prayer every night at dinner. And you are serious. Even though it is May, you swear that Christmas is practically here. You just love Christmas. And our couch cushions. Our couch cushions are your favorite toy right now. You build forts and doors and tunnels and libraries and mazes for your brother to crawl through. You play with them everyday and it is always the last thing that you put away when you are picking up your toys. I just love that in a list of what you are thankful or, the couch cushions make the cut, every time. You are such a sweetheart, Andrew.

Oh, that is HILARIOUS!! What a sweet boy indeed!
The couch cushions are a daily activity here as well, though I think Jesse likes them more than Lucas!!
Man, we really do have to buy a new couch. ;)
Andrew is just full of the one-liners these days. Too cute.
What a great story. Timothy is just discovering the joys of fort building, too.
thanks so much for the beautiful card! I hope you had a wonderful day, yourself!
So sweet...kinda makes me wonder what atticus' prayers would sound like.
I showed this to Chris, and I keep thinking about it. SO sweet.
You seriously are the BEST mom. And the cushions thing? I LOVE YOUR KID!!! :)
