keeping it simple

I have been designing super simple cards lately. I love how clean and open they look with that white background. And they are so fast to make! I can guarantee that you'll be seeing more like this! I just can't help myself!

You need to get these in stores and start selling! or set up an internet boutique!

A stamping question for us stamp carvers: How do you get the little bird's beak and feet a different color than the rest of his body? Are there different stamp parts?! Or do you just take the extra care to press one side of the stamp onto the corner of one color stamp pad and then press the little features on another color stamp pad?

I thought of another option: markers! Do you fill in the color that you desire with a special stamp ink marker?! ('Cause I know you have so many fun and neat crafting gadgets over there!)

wait, kathy. You don't want the one with skulls and crossbones?!?! ;)

Mama V, yup. Markers. I used two, a blue one for the body and yellow for the beak and feet. Markers make it look smudge-y, but are great for various colors!
