survery says...
Isaac is a red head.
For a while now, we just were not sure. He didn't have enough hair. I knew full well that my desire to have a red headed kid might color the way I see his hair (pun so intended). But as we walk around our hood, total strangers unfamiliar with my red haired preferences, comment on his hair. At the wedding a few weeks ago a father of a red haired teenager saw me and Isaac, pointed his son and said, "this is his future!"
It's pretty silly how thrilled I am. When kids' height and weight come up I tell people that Isaac is average weight and height (he's now 50th percentile for both), but that he has above average hair color.
I plan on milking this while I can. I know that hair is prone to change. I used to sport reddish locks back in the day, though you can hardly tell now. So, he might not be a red headed adult, or even a red headed kid. But for now, he is a red headed baby. And that is pretty cool by me.
I'm just wondering if he's going to have the red headed temper to match...

Look at that surly expression! It seems to me that he makes that expression a lot, so maybe you'll be right about a fiery temper!
D was told (until his little brother came along 6 years later) that he was the family's "little red caboose." I still call him that sometimes.
Isaac's carrot top is adorable!
What a cute pout!! Hey, I love that kid!
Sooo cute! :)
