same day scrapbooking
Last Friday, when it was Isaac that had the worst of it, I took these photos of him, printed them out and journaled about my neurotic worries brought on by his cold. I was feeling vulnerable. I had just watched a documentary on the Dust Bowl and learned about kids that died from "dust pneumonia". Hearing Isaac cough during the night triggered irrational thoughts of "will he make it through this? Or is this dust pneumonia??" Nothing like that middle-of-the-night Mama voice to find reason and logic to comfort me back to sleep. Well, I'm happy to say that his little system has seen another cold come and go and we have all made it through to the other side.
We are off to Vermont today for a jam packed holiday weekend! Let's hope that the traffic is kind.

what a great layout. you have such a great style. Glad to hear the little guy is feeling better :-) Have a great holiday!
Beautiful layout. I love the stars and buttons. I know that mama feeling. . . drove me to take dd to the doctor last week. Her very bad cold had turned into a sinus infection.

Such a lovely LO! I share your worries about little people with nasty coughs and colds. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
Lovely layout! I saw the same documentary about the Dust Bowl. I sometimes wonder if my oldest's allergy cough is a similar problem to dust pneumonia
great lo! Love the dotted swiss bazzil. ;)
Glad to hear he is better. And love the design of your LO. Happy Thanksgiving!
Sweet Isaac. Love how he's just staring at you/the camera with those sad, sick eyes.
And a Happy Thanksgiving to the Rice Family! Gobble, Gobble!
I love your layout, and glad to hear your little one is well again.
