homemade Christmas
Yesterday Andrew and I made a wreath for our door.
We started with a green foamy circle.
Andrew used my paper punches to punch out ba-zillion stars, large and small.
And I used pins to stick the stars to the circle. Simple, easy and cute project. I LOVE sitting with the boys doing things like this. REALLY makes me slow down and go their pace for a while. Which is just good for everyone.

What a great project that you can involve children in and it looks so very lovely!
SOOOOO cute! I've been wanting to make a wreath this year and I love the simplicity and cuteness of this one! Thanks for the inspiration. :o)
that is adorable - and a good excuse to buy some star punches!
Very cute. And classy, too. That is a ton of stars. :)
Awesome idea! Who would have thought something so easy would look soooo super!
Rinda
so pretty!
can i ask you where you got the foam ring? i want to make a gumdrop one with my kids (i know, dangerous!) :)
Cute! Andrew was working those hand muscles!
This would also be great in different colors for a 4th of July theme.
Tami: I got the wreath at Michael's in Staten Island. Sorry. Is it worth the $12 toll? ;) maybe...
Cute! Somehow our projects never look this classy. Enzo would have ripped those things apart, and Atticus certainly would have done drawings all over them. (-:
Do you just come up with these things on your own?
thanks!
not sure i'll be trekking over the bridge. there's got to be something similar in brooklyn, no?
cute project, as always. thanks for the inspiration. :)
love it! it will be on my activity list for next year!!
Cute and sophisticated. What kind of paper did you use?
Hey Zenub! I used cardstock. Stampin' Up's always artichoke. ;)
That's interesting because in the photo, it looks metallic.
