a few stories for your Wednesday ;)

1. Andrew has declared himself "BandAid Man Andrew". The responsibilities with that title include knowing when someone is 'not feeling well' and applying BandAids to them. By dinner time last night I had two BandAids on my pants, Isaac had two on the back of his shirt and Andrew had one on his belly.

2. When it was time to clean up the toys I passed Isaac toy after toy saying "where does this one go?" and Isaac would run to the toy shelf and put the toy in the right spot. Meanwhile, Andrew wandered around with the same tinkertoy for 10 minutes unable to remember what it was he was suppose to be doing.

3. We started dinner before Dave got home from work. Andrew did the prayer before we ate. He said, "Thanks for moving around a lot (I think he meant 'thanks for opportunities to move around a lot'...we had just gotten home from the playground). Thanks for Daddy, who is not here today. Thanks for Mommy and Andrew. And thanks for Isaac, who is not listening!"

I see Isaac hasn't perfected the art of looking as if he is paying attention even if he isn't! It's a gift that most boys develop at some point, I know my son has it down to a fine art!
What a lovely story.

Don't boys come out with the cutest things. And by the sounds of it, you may be needing to buy more band aids soon ;o)

very cute! It is funny to me how much little people like band aids.
