Andrew says:
"Can we watch a DVD?"
"I'd like to wait until 5 o'clock."
Andrew looks at the clock and says "But it's 3 o'clock."
"Yup."
"So we need 2 more?"
This one took me a minute catch on, but I eventually did, "Yes, Andrew. We need two more."

Tuesday night I went to visit Caitlin again. As I was leaving Andrew asked to come with me.
"Maybe next week", I say.
"How about on Wednesday!" (he has a very busy schedule and needed to pencil it in, I guess)
"umm....yeah. Maybe Wednesday would be fine."
He thinks for a minute and says, "So, is today Wednesday?"
---------------------
"Mommy, you smell like Jupiter."
Andrew's class is still studying the Solar System, so sending in Earth Day cookies for Earth Day just seemed like a good idea.

Awesome cookies.
Awesome kid.
Love that Andrew.
And the cookies look great. I want to hear how they were received.
Love the convo's between you and Andrew. Very sweet. And those cookies? Shut up! A.DOR.ABLE!
Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog about my daughter and I. I feel very blessed to have the relationship that I do with her. I attribute it to spending quality time with her as a child - crafting together, cooking, and just having conversations where I actually paid attention. I'd say you're well on your way to building something wonderful with your boys! xo
The cookies look delicious!
I wish Andrew went to the school I work at (never going to happen as -
1. it's in England
2. it's for 11 - 18 yr olds
3. it's a girl's school)
because I feel sure that Andrew's mum would also bake enough cookies for the staff in the office too!
awww! Deb! You're a sweetheart. You work at a girls' school? That's great!
AWESOME cookies! I wish we could make those at school...
