Beach Week 2: recap
It was a good beach week. It was not without its stressful moments. But there was lots of good stuff too. The boys' cousins take care of them constantly: chasing down Isaac and making sure he stays with the group, splashing Andrew and playing all kinds of crazy games with him, getting Isaac his cup and tickling him until tears rolled his face. They quickly forgave mishaps and were fantastic at just rolling with the punches. I am a diehard fan of cousins. Especially my kids' cousins.
Today we are unpacking and getting our Brooklyn on. Hopefully I will be back with more stories to share later. Until then, have a lovely weekend!

very, very, very lovely. Loved the pictures! How fun.
welcome back I love all the photos
especially the last shot
Next time you are troubled by self doubt just look at that last picture and see just what a great Mom you are! Then go hug whoever took that picture. Just fabulous!
What great shots and I love that last photo!! It looks like you've had a fantastic time and your boys certainly seemed to have enjoyed being with their cousins :)
Ditto to what everyone said about the last picture!
great pics! is there a wheel missing from that stroller?
I'm happy you all had a great time! I'm also happy you're back!
Cat! You Eagle Eye!
Yup. We wore off a wheel of the stroller on our daily walks to school. I bought that stroller in February and we are already down one wheel.
If anyone is wondering what kind of stroller to buy...just buy a Maclaren! I never did because they are double what Gracos cost...but we've been through 3 Gracos! And we're still down a wheel! ug!
That last shot is just perfect!
Chuck's kids are adorable. I love that one with the two tickets. Melts my heart.
Your mom looks so cute in the photos of her on the ride with Isaac. I'm glad you guys had a good time.
I was always kind of leery of the Macs because I have actually seen quite a few with worn off tires. But then I received mine as a gift and said "What the heck, not buying another stroller", and it has thankfully lasted two years. Here's to it lasting at least two more. And yes, beautiful pic at the end!
I'm so lucky!
The Safety 1st stroller I bought for Jake in 2005 is still in one piece and used for Julia. I have used it in the snow, on the beach, for cardio-stroller training, it has been on plaine rides, escalators... name it, it follows me everywhere!
When Julia was born, I bought a slightly used Peg- Perrego stroller. I love the way the baby is secure in it but still can move but hate the wheels that are way too small. Only good for indoor use in my opinion.
Great pics, again!
