wedding favors: tinker stage

A friend of mine is getting married in a few weeks and months ago she and I talked about cookie wedding favors. So this week in my kitchen I've been tinkering with design ideas, icing color and consistency and cute packaging. I've yet to nail it, but I am getting closer and closer.

I am now awaiting feedback from the bride before moving forward. But hopefully, in a few weeks I will have a truly impressive blog post showcasing around 150 amazing cookies. ;)

Until then: practice, practice!

At first I thought you were making pop tarts! Very, very beautiful pop tarts! (And now that I see they're not pop tarts, they look so much more beautiful!)

If anybody can make 150 amazing cookie favors, it's you!

bee-you-tee-ful! What a lucky bride to get such a heart felt and delicious favor to give her guests.

I thought pop tarts, too. And then I didn't want to say that b/c it seemed offensive to your surely delicious cookies. ;) but I see I wasn't alone.

Must be the shape. It's kind of unusual in the cookie world.
