Studio Friday's weekly challenge is to show examples of the favorite colors that we like to use. The problem is that I am a little timid of colors. I feel like I have such a basic understanding of color and how it works. A safe place for me when thinking about color is contrast. I am a novice at putting colors together, but when I have a good contrast of light and dark colors, I usually like the result. And I cheat. When working with different colored papers, I usually chose a mulicolored paper first, and then draw the other colors from that. So, I think that this layout is a good example of contrast and using multicolored paper to guide me.
