New Year.
We storm Chinatown every year to peek in at their New Year's celebrations. So. Very. Fun. This year we didn't bother trying to surf through the crowds to see the parade like last year. Instead we stayed just at the edge. We found a good spot to see the confetti fly around, hear all the ruckus and feel safe about letting Andrew out of his stroller to run around. His favorite part was jumping off the curb of the sidewalk into little piles of confetti. New York's winter version of jumping in the leaves.
We stayed for only about an hour or two before I needed to sit and Andrew was pooped, but we managed to take over a hundred pictures. So much to photograph. Andrew finally said "no photos! no photos!"
and I thought he was accustomed to his paparazzi.

Yeah for Chinese New Year! Good luck to everybody!
I know you are looking forward to living back in MA, but that is a very cool experience to have. Andrew looks like he is having an absolute blast! What fun!
Happy New Year! Year of the Rat.
Now maybe my across the street neighbors will take down their Christmas tree! =)
So I finally responded to your comment on "My Week" on my blog- you may or may not care. (-:
