and his birthday is not until tomorrow!
We worked on thank you notes today. He received stamps and stickers for his birthday and right now he really likes matching the stamps to the pictures on the box. But he's not too into the stamping part yet. So we tried stickers and found success!
Plans for tomorrow? It seems to be developing as a Rice Family Tradition that the birthday itself is quiet but nice. Dave usually takes the day off and we do something together. Last year we went hiking. This year we are thinking of going to the Fire Fighter Museum. And we'll probably drop by Little Cupcake for a treat. It's good to sample the local bakeries. You know, for research. To get ideas. To enjoy the baked goods without heating up your oven. ;)

I love the idea of spending the day together as a family on your son's birthday.
That's a very nice tradition and will provide him with some very special memories, I'm sure.
