party day

children: 5
babies: 2
adults: 12ish
fights over new toys: 3
hugs exchanged between kids: 5
amount of time Isaac was awake: 15 minutes
food: pretty good
drinks: very good

but the most memorable stat of the day:
temperature: 94
number of air conditioning units in practical places (like where the people were): 0



therefore Dave took Andrew to the park to run through the sprinklers post party.

Andrew, which was more fun? The party or the sprinklers?

I was just wanting some sangria yesterday! And I haven't even thought about it in ages. How strange is that?

Yeah, I'm glad the party pictures are posted. I want to see a picture of the completed banner. :)
I'm sitting in the morning heat, before another 90 degrees day, and that picture of Andrew in the water looks so inviting. I saw that we may reach 99 degrees on Monday. My oh my.

Looks like a blast! Can I steal your sangria idea (and maybe even recipe)? We're doing our party at 10, too- a brunch thing. Is sangria a brunch thing? I don't even know. Anyway- happy birthday to Andrew!
