We are fighting the heat with frozen watermelon treats. I got this idea from a
really great magazine.
I just smashed cubed watermelon with a potato masher and put the smush into little cups.
Then I put it in the freezer for 3 hours and: watermelon pop!
So cold!
But so good!

So handsome!
Andrew got a haircut! He's looking so stylish.
That's a good idea with the watermelon pops. I love summer fruit. and I love icy cold things these days. What a perfect combination. :)
Yeah, we had plans for him getting his haircut this past weekend at the kid haircut place, but none of us were up to it. So i did my hack-job Monday morning.
I love the shot of the cold shock. Andrew's expression is just how we all feel with that first bite!
It's 5:00 in the morning and I am in the hotel lobby in Cabo San Lucas with books and computer in tow. It's pitch black so I figure I have about an hour til the sun wakes up and 4 or 5 hours until my family gets out of bed. So I am checking in with the blogging world.
When I saw the photo of Andrew load, I thought, "Robyn's taken over from the barber, I see." :) Gives him that nifty 1950's See-Dick-Run look. Love it. So cute with the frozen watermelon pop.
How I wish I could have a frozen watermelon pop right about now! Even at 5 am in the air conditioned lobby, I can already feel the heat!
