Train Show

Today we went to the Holiday Train Show at the New York Botanical Gardens. It was amazing. They had recreated many New York building out of all botanic material. Even the windows were made with tree sap.

Oh. And there were trains.

But, you might be asking, what did Isaac think of all of this?!?!

Oh! This is exactly what they do at the DC Botanical Gardens--botanical buildings and all. We went several times a year every year we were there. I miss that.

That is cool. I didn't know there were also trains. That made it the perfect Rice family outing!

I forgot to mention my favorite part of the day. I heard someone in line behind us say, "Look at that baby! He has red hair!" That was the 3rd person that day that said Isaac's hair was red!!!

enough to make a mama swoon.

Oh yay, I'm so glad you went! We hadn't planned on going because we were told that it wasn't very kid-friendly but clearly they were wrong! Was it worth the trek up there?

WHAAAAAT? You have to have- like- the TINIEST hands to do that. Even MY hands would be too big. That is why I believe in elves & fairies.
