Welcome Christmas

Lately I have up late at night. I have been tossing and turning. I have been thinking and scheming. And it has been wonderful.

Christmas is my kind of holiday. I love giving gifts. I love getting gifts. I love gifts. I love it when I think of the perfect gift. And this year, I feel like I've nailed it. With just about everyone.

And, to top it off, it's only December 1st.

Last weekend so much Christmas Joy was pouring out of me that I could barely contain myself. "Finally everyone will know how much I love them!" I said to Dave. Such a good feeling. A frantic, overwhelming, too much coffee, kind of good feeling. Exhausting. But, wonderful none the less.

So, at this point in the season...at the kick-off, I am so excited that the season is finally here. Though I doubt I'll be able to maintain this energy. And that's okay. Welcome, even. But I sure am enjoying this strong start!

Let the holiday begin!

I've finally gotten around to framing some family pics that include our newest member. Why does that kind of thing take so long?

Yay! I'm feeling the giddiness, too! Love it! I'll be glad to keep coming back everyday to share in the excitement with you!

And framing baby pics is on my to-do list for this month as well. Of course I had to pick the craziest month to get it done. What's wrong with me?

" I love giving gifts . . . And this year, I feel like I've nailed it."

FYI: For Christmas, I'd like to snuggle with Isaac and sing carols with Andrew.

Can you handle that, Santa?

"Christmas is my kind of holiday." In my mind you say this like Joe Junior from While You Were Sleeping. ;)
