blank book

A friend of mine recently found out that she is expecting! And she asked me to make her a scrapbook for her to record her pregnancy.

She and her husband call the baby "Blueberry". So I took several hundred photos of blueberries to try to get a good one for the cover. And her last name is Hoang, which inspired the title of the book.

I tried to make each page simple and open. Room for writing a lot, but if she decides she doesn't want to write a lot it won't look blank. Room for photos and ultrasound whatnot and other bits and pieces she might want to throw in there. Plus, since it is bound with rings, she can always punch holes in other pages/photos/papers she wants to add, and add them.

Congratulations Anne! Grow that baby!

I love it. Did you cover chipboard or just paper for the pages?

It's so simple, yet practical! Another great idea, Robyn! You are one creative girl! I might have to make one of those sometime soon! I especially love the title!!!!!!!!!!

Julie, for the cover I covered chipboard. For the pages I put patterned paper and white paper back to back, so no chipboard on the pages.

confession: in case anyone comes back to read this...the title was not my idea! ;) Firefly gets the credit!
