Firefly (ok, her real name is Marti) flew out from California to visit some of her East Coast pals and since I count myself among her East Coast Pals, I loaded my family into the car Friday afternoon and drove us all to Western Massachusetts to get together with her and the Other East Coast Friends.
Western Massachusetts is beautiful and I was feeling some serious landscape envy. It's just a really nice area. I kept asking Dave, "tell me why we don't live here."
It turned out to be a weekend of lots of hanging out and talking and playing with kids and enjoying each other. A great weekend.

Thanks guys! His hair looks so red when he wears orange. So, I try to dress him in a lot of orange. ;)

I keep telling Lucas that our leaves will turn red or orange, but so far they mostly go from green to... dead on the ground! Wah?! I need to take him further northeast to prove that I'm not lying!
