Especially mine!
Yesterday was my big day and we celebrated by heading to a flea market in Dumbo and getting me some cool presents. There is a vendor at that flea market that uses salvaged decorative tin from the ceilings of old buildings to make things I want. We got a mirror and 6 tiles that are now hanging awesomely in my bedroom. I love them. So old urban and I feel all sentimental about old urban.
Then, I had some friends over for a Show Off My Quilt and Oops It's My Birthday Too party! I made a city cake for the event and the party was a smashing success. Vanessa and Susan ended up bringing quilts I've made for them and it turned into a compliment-palooza. Which, honestly? is right up my alley.
Pretty good birthday, as far as those things go. ;)
