Last week I made another dress and little coat for my small and sweet friend, Tess. I used more of that fabric I fell in love with as a border around the bottom of the dress and I lined the little coat with it also.
This dress and coat were hard. And I'm convinced that my sewing machine has it out for me at this point. So, I think my sewing machine and I will take a little break...give each other some breathing room. Or perhaps I'll just use it for paper projects for a while.

She is the cutest little girl and so lucky to have you making clothes for her. I made my elder daughter clothes when she was little but haven't made anything for a while now. I love the little coat - in the sneak peak I thought the outfit might have been for you ;)
