and just like that

the slump is over.

I am so relieved!

What helped? The lower humidity. The day at the cool and breezy beach. The beginnings of a new sewing project. The forgiveness and willingness to move on that my sewing machine and I are extending to each other. Places and ways to escape the heat and get a little more control over my day and my time and my attitude.

I have a lot I want to do today.
on my mark, get set...

Hmm, this reminds me of a patchwork pattern I did for my A level needlework exam. We had to make a children's toy and I made a big cordoroy turtle with a patchwork shell.
Looking forward to seeing what your little patchwork pieces turn into!

Hey, this looks like an interesting project. When I first found your blog you were in the middle of your city quilt. I'm excited to see where you're going with these little bits...
