the clocks

The clocks are playing tricks on me. Yesterday I woke up in the morning light wondering why my clock said 3:45. A trip to the kitchen confirmed that it was not 3:45. It was 7:30 and I needed to get crackin' on my day.

Last night I set my alarm for 6:15 and made sure the clock was showing the right time. And this morning my alarm did not go off and the clock was set a full hour ahead of real time.

And so, I'm convinced that my alarm thinks I need more sleep and is sabotaging my early waking attempts. Or maybe it doesn't care how much sleep I am getting and is just plain messing with me.

Perhaps it's time for a new alarm.

I recently made these scrapbook pages with the photos from our 3rd of July trip to Governor's Island. I didn't have much to say about them, so the journaling is sparse, but the cute stuff is extensive. Just switching things up a little, my friends.

Cute pages. I love the rounded edges and clothing tag stamps! Makes me want to dust of my boxes of stamps and make something!

I dreamed I was at your house last night and gave birth to a mop! What?! Maybe I should clean my house...

This post just reminded me I need to buy a new alarm clock. We have one of those 'sets itself by the atomic clock' alarm clocks and I guess the atomic clock is wrong most off the time since my alarm clock is always 15-90 minutes off of every other clock in the house

Erin! That's hilarious! Your subconscious must now how important mops are around here!

Stacey, isn't it so confusing when the clocks mess up? Time is so stinkin' important!

Love the pages. Yours are always so crisp and neat - kinda like you I suspect. I have just bought a crop-o-dile corner chomper so now I can do rounded corners in two sizes - but it won't make my pages any neater or crisper though
