here we go, here we go
Today was the first official day of school. But, we get tomorrow and Friday off for the Jewish holidays...and then back at it on Monday!
Andrew and I went to meet his teachers, see the (brand new!) building, hear the shpeal, and get our feet wet. He was excited to go. Neither of us were particularly nervous (amazing!) and we liked what we saw. Andrew left saying, "I love it!"
And there you have it.
And he only seemed to have silly faces for me this morning. That boy.

Oh my goodness! Andrew is a kindergartner! I hardly thought about it being the first day of school until I opened your blog.
I'm glad to hear it went so well.
What more could you ask for? He certainly looks happy! He's growing up so fast.
He looks really happy!
Oh my goodness is right! I can't believe he is a kindergartner! He's a schoolboy! He's practically grown up!
I guess this is the time when I start repeating back all the lines like these that I heard all throughout my childhood.
Andrew, you look so handsome! And TALL!
I think I was more worried about Andrew than about Lucas today because we knew so little about your new school. But I'm so glad to hear that it looks and sounds great!
Fantastic that he liked it and is happy to go. Way to go, Andrew!
Glad he is happy about it!
He looks so much like Dave in that first picture.
