recap

I worked hard this week. I worked hard to meet all the demands and do an A+ job. I worked hard for my new gig and tried to make a good impression, communicate things clearly, and work out a schedule that will work for everyone. I worked hard for my kids. I packed lunches, snacks, brought kids to the playground, showed up for a PTA meeting, wrestled, helped with homework, made sure there were clean clothes to wear. I even worked for myself. I kept those floors more or less clean, took time to blog each day, planned some upcoming crafting goodness, and made brownies.

But, I feel like I haven't seen Dave in weeks.

And friends that I used to connect with just about daily I have not been able to connect with.

And I lost Andrew's jacket.

So, this weekend I have big plans for lazy mornings in jammies and time just hanging out with my guys. And a trip to the store to pick up another jacket. I'm sure when all is said and done, these brownies will be GONE.

Have a good, restful weekend!

I hear you! Good for you- and I'm sure you'll find ways to work it all together as you get more into it. But, for me, especially during my semester (I have to work a lot when Chris gets home, etc.), weekends feel even more precious as far as re-connecting goes.

Hope you enjoy it! WIsh you could come to the corn maze w/ us!

Love your new banner but you are sorely mistaken on candy corn. It is awesome and delicious! Go Goodyreid! Do you agree that it tastes best as triangles than as candy corn pumpkins?

Classis triangles for sure. Robyn! It tastes like honey and the texture can not be beat!
