Baked Bounty

Jar of Chiristmas Spritz

Pumpkin rolls rising

Tonight we are going to visit a family that we have never met to drop off dinner and gifts. I should be excited, but I am a little nervous about it. What will their reaction be? Will they be embarrassed? Will they be happy? I don't know what to expect, but it is the right thing to do nonetheless. I made pumpkin rolls and Christmas cookies for them. A friend is making ham, potatoes and green beans. So yum! I guess we'll see how this goes! I have been in a bit of the Christmas blahs lately, so maybe this is just the thing I need. But, again, even if it is wierd and awkward, it is still good to do this stuff.

how did the dinner go? i got my xmas letters out dec 4th....top that (well actually, since i don't physically make my cards i think you did top that just in the general scheme of things). i was pretty excited to have them in the mailbox before i received a singe one. of course, pending baby delivery was an INCREDIBLE motivator to get them done and taken care of. i still have a few things looming but the schedule is getting cleared pretty quickly....

Hey Jackie,

Your'e cute. It's called Angel Tree ministry. They focus on families that have one parent in prison. We bring food and gifts. My Bible study adopted a family and I am not sure how my friend found them. Maybe online? Anyway, we dropped the stuff last night and it went really well. They were really happy!
