I had Andrew work on his thank you notes yesterday. I made a simple edible paint (flour, water, salt and food coloring) and hoped for the best. I was originally thinking Andrew would try finger painting, since that is what he does with his normal food (especially yogurt), but this time he was really grossed out by the thought of finger painting (go figure). So, he dabbled a bit with a paint brush.

I thought they turned out really cute.

Andrew was confused by the whole thing.

Especially why the paint tasted so bad.
