Where is "here?" It looks like a pretty, beachy place, good for relaxing. I miss you and wish that "here" was California, near enough that I could come visit you.
I am back from South America.
I need to tell you some vacation stories. I need to verify your new mailing address so that I can mail you a present. I need to report on my uncertain wonderings about becoming an English professor. I need to ask you about becoming a better cook. I need to get a Robyn fix (I mean a bigger one than I got from the last hour and a half of reading all the blogs I missed while I was gone). I miss you!
And I don't even know where "here" is!!!!
Hey Marti moo. 'here' is not California, but the Jersey shore. We are here for the week doing beach-y things with the fam. Today Andrew spent an hour perfecting his belly flops in the tidal pools. He is now an expert.

Thanks for the update. Just wanted to chime in again to say I hope that you have (had?) a nice time taking a breather from city life on the Jersey shore. I am glad to think of you there doing beach-y things with the fam.
