little box
Yesterday Andrew and I took the little orange slip of paper to the post office to claim the package that we missed. I had a feeling it would be from Vermont. I even had a feeling it would be from Loralee. And furthermore I had a feeling that it would have some cloth diapering supplies in it. I was right on all three accounts. But I did not expect this:
or this:
Oh my goodness. Sooooo beautiful.
My first thought was that I really don't deserve all this TLC and that I am a schmuck.
My second thought was that even though I don't deserve it, I love it, love it, love it and then I think I did some jumping.
Then I went from labeling myself a schmuck, to deciding I was pretty darn smart to pick up such an awesome friend. So now I am congratulating myself on such a good decision! ;) I mean look at these things! Hand knitted cuteness for my little guy!
I love hand knitted cuteness.
My only regret? That winter is so far off.
I can't wait to put that sweater on him!
Thank you, Loralee.
You are so, so very cool.

What! No pictures of the cloth-diapering supplies.
wow. Not only are you so talented, but you have incredibly talented friends! lucky you!
SO cute! But there is NO excuse for wishing for winter at this point.
Oh how sweet - we are expecting another grandchild in a couple of weeks any chance of the pattern for the rabbit? It would be great!
Go easy on your wish list of things to do - it clogs up your mind and lowers your immune system - be where you are at which is in a very prescious place.
Brenda in Cambridge sitting at computer meant to be sending out my historical novel which won't get published cos I am not a 'celebrity', despite it being a good piece of English social romantic history. Go well.

Sorry forgot to put my name - anonymous isn't a mouse I'd like to be.!
Brenda,
The bunny pattern was from Creative Knitting Magazine (they have a website, so you might be able to request the magazine they're from). It was a copy given to me, and I'm a little confused about one thing... the front side of the page says January 2008, but the pattern side says March 2008. They are called 'luxury lop-eared bunnies' (luxury because they were knitted in cashmere, but I chose a practical but soft machine washable yarn!) by Plymouth Yarn Co. They're great because, aside from the ears, they're done all in one piece, so not a huge amount of sewing after you have it all knit up.
Hope that helps!
