cars

Today I used the car to run an errand. I needed to go to a store about 10 blocks away and spend less than $5 on the thing I needed to buy. And I used the car.

And I loved it.

I needed to repark the car for street-sweeping anyway. And the store I was going to had a parking lot. And it feels so good to drive. So we drove. And I tried to think of other places to go and other excuses to drive and I couldn't think of any. So, we came home and I parked the car on the other side of the street.

I really like having a car. We know a lot of people who not only do not have a car, but don't even have a driver's license. And that makes a lot of sense here. You really don't need one. And insurance rates and gas prices are pretty steep. And you have to repark it for street sweeping or you get a hefty ticket. And once someone threw up on our car. And that was really gross.

But, it's worth it.
And that's all I have for you today.

That's so funny! I literally couldn't live without a car up here! What a difference!

I could not live without my car. I have a little mini and I love it! We're a family of 4 and we have 4 cars - we keep 2 in our garage and 2 on the drive and always the one that is needed is the one in the garage, blocked in by one of the others. I think I could get a job as valet parker - I have the experience!
