this weekend

As you read this we are probably on the road to Vermont. We are heading up for the weekend for Dave's brother's wedding.

++++++++++++++++++++

The bride and groom, being extremely generous and brave, have asked Andrew to be the ring bearer. Dave and I agree that if the role of ring bearer is anything beyond comic relief, we are in big trouble. I am trying to look on the bright side. Even if calamity strikes because of the reckless, active ring bearer, I am bound to at least get some nice photos of Andrew wearing adorable wedding gear. All will not be lost. At least in my perspective. In the bride's perspective however, I'm not sure she really knew what she was getting into.

++++++++++++++++++++

We've known about this wedding for about a year and several months ago I began to wonder what to wear. I decided that it was time to buy a new dress. I told Dave my plans. Dave says to me, "didn't you just buy a dress?" "The last dress I bought was a year and a half ago for the fancy work dinner we went to. It was a maternity dress. I am not wearing that." A new dress has been bought! I am bound and determined to look fantastic.

The boys and I are staying in Vermont for a few days next week. However, I have scheduled a few posts to go up while I am away. So don't give up on me entirely!

This is the card that I made for the bridge and groom. Inside is a small envelope where our, ahem, gift will go. This baby was soooo fun to make.

Have a great weekend!

You're giving the newlyweds a gift that will fit in that tiny envelope?!?!

...It's a condom, right?

What a beautiful card. Wow.

Can't wait to see pictures of both you and Andrew in your wedding gear. And hear all the funny stories that I'm sure will come from the day. Have fun!

Yeah, don't leave us hanging on the dress, Robyn. Just because you didn't make it doesn't mean we don't want to see it :)
