It's project time!

Last night, while I talked to my sister on the phone about all the brain sculptures her 3rd grade class is doing (brain lasagna, anyone?), I started assembling the base of my December Daily.

Getting this album ready to fill is one of three Christmas projects I'm hoping to finish by Thanksgiving. 'Tis the season to prepare for advent. Preparing to prepare, so to speak.

This year I am planning on two page spreads for each day of December. Most of the pages have the date and journaling block in the middle of the two pages with a large area on one side for photos. The opposite, often empty page, will either have other photos, or on quieter days, I'll just cover it in patterned paper.

And that's what I have so far!

Check out past year's December Daily's:
2009
2008
2007

I really like the muted blues, reds and tans in your book. You are so organized!

I'm in the process of putting mine together, but I keep changing my mind about how the overall end project should look. The only 'concrete' inclusion is Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses range of paper. I'm pretty much in love with it!
Your December Daily last year was the first one I'd seen in that format and I loved it!

Oh yeah, lasagna (especially spinach lasagna) DOES look like Xmas!

I like the red music sheet paper in particular.

Very impressed by how dedicated you are each year to this same project!
