valentine cookies

Last night I made the dough for these cookies. And the dough somewhat resembled a bowl of sand. Has that ever happened to you? I read somewhere that the food processor is a great tool for baking and it's my tool of choice for whipping up pie dough. So I poured my chocolate sand into the food processor, let it rip for about 45 seconds and voila! Soft and smooth chocolate dough.

These chocolate cookies have a white chocolate interior and receive a dark chocolate plunge before getting festively sprinkled. And, unfortunately for me and mine, these are getting shipped away to various friends in need of valentine goodies. Not to worry though, I have big plans for cupcakes later this week.
